Tips on writing a weekly Short Story

The weekly short story competion is aimed at developing short fluent burst of creativity. In the weekly Short Story we are looking for short inventive unpredictable stories, let your imagination run free and see what happens. This form of writing can produce surprising results and even produce ideas for much longer Stories. The benefit of writing in this short format is plot and consistancy are not really a problem, it can be quite liberating just to write in short creative stints without worrying if you have lost the plot. Whatever the result nothing is wasted, you will quickly hone your existing skills and develop some new ones.
